Midori Tanimune Memorial Teaching Scholarship Fund
Objective Midori Tanimune dedicated her life to teaching and promoting ikebana. The Memorial Scholarship Fund will continue her life-long objective to promote and support ikebana students to expand their ikebana training and experience. The goal of the scholarship is to increase the number of ikebana sensei that are actively teaching.
Applicants can apply for funds to cover associated fees to participate in:
Workshops/Training
Conferences
Demonstrations
Qualifications:
Demonstrated talent and commitment to ikebana
Committed to teaching ikebana
Interested in expanding their training
Recommendation:
A recommendation by the ikebana teacher should be sent to ikebanaiwaya@gmail.com.
Deadline:
Applications must be received at least 6 months prior to the event.
