IKEBANA DAY 2024 – HYDRANGEA
Ikebana Day was established by Japan Ikebana Art (not Arts) Association in 2020 based on the ancient Japanese concept that June 6 at the age 6 is a good day to start any traditional art lessons. Since then, ikebana practitioners and enthusiasts have celebrated this special day around the world. The Association has been designating a theme flower for Ikebana Day every year. This year's flower is Hydrangea. It was Gerbera Daisy for 2021, Lisianthus for 2022, and Calla Lily for 2023. They are very active in Instagram. They encourage us to use #ikebana among other #s.
